We are looking at the way plans are made for children who are in care.
We want to know about such things as:
- How are Birth Parent's wishes and feelings taken into account?
- How are Children's wishes and feelings taken into account?
- Do review meetings help to make sure the the right plans are made?
- How does the Independent Reviewing Officer help with making sure the right plans are made?
To help us find this out we need to speak to lots of parents and children from all over the country.
We will be interviewing parents in each of the four Local Authorities that we are working with. We will make contact with parents through their Social Worker or Independent Reviewing Officer. Parents who take part will be offered a £20 store voucher to thank them for their time.
