Can't make it to campus?

We understand that not everyone can make it to Norwich to visit us in person, so along with your invitation to your campus Applicant Day you will receive a link to your personalised Applicant Hub. Your Applicant Hub is full of on-demand content about your course, with videos from a both a lecturer and a current student, as well as everything else that life at UEA has to offer, from our accommodation to student support services, careers and employability advice and more. You can also explore our beautiful campus and the vibrant city of Norwich.

As your Hub is personal to you, you will need your unique link to access it. If you can't find the link, don't worry, just email admissions@uea.ac.uk and we'll resend it.

Questions?

Check out FAQs section below, or contact us on recruitmentevents@uea.ac.uk and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

What happens at an Applicant Day?

Applicant Days are split into subject sessions and other optional activities such as tours and Q&A panels. If you attend an Applicant Day on a Wednesday, your optional activities will take place first, followed by your subject activities. If you attend an Applicant Day on a Saturday you will join your subject activities first, followed by the optional activities. If you have already been to an Open Day and feel like you have fully explored our campus and accommodation, then you are welcome to join just for your subject sessions. Or we also offer a free bus ticket in to Norwich on the day of your Applicant Day, so you can explore the city centre at your own pace.

For more information on the schedule for your Applicant Day, see our Applicant Day programmes page, where you'll find an example programme for your subject and schedules for the different days.

To find out what to expect from your Applicant Day from a student perspective, check out our student blog.

What happens after your Applicant Day?

Your Applicant Hub is a brilliant resource to come back to after your Applicant Day. You can find out more about things like student finance, accommodation and everything you need to know about getting ready to come to university. Your personal link to the Applicant Hub will be emailed to you, but if you can't find it just email us on admissions@uea.ac.uk and we'll resend it.

We will email you with details of options for travelling to the Applicant Day. Car parking locations will vary depending on the date – parking on campus can be limited so you may be directed to Costessey Park and Ride.

Blue badge parking is available on campus, please email recruitmentevents@uea.ac.uk for more information.

You are more than welcome to bring guests with you. During your subject session, we will run a Q&A panel specifically for parents, carers and other guests. Apart from this there are no set activities for guests while you attend your subject session, but they are free to explore campus - take a walk around the lake or green spaces, check out the Sainsbury Centre or Sportspark or find a comfy space in one of our cafes. If you are bringing children, please ensure they are accompanied by an appropriate adult who carries full responsibility for the child during the day.
We run Campus Tours on a regular basis, you can find out more by clicking here
If you would like to cancel or rebook you can email us at recruitmentevents@uea.ac.uk
It's not compulsory to attend an Applicant Day, but it is a great opportunity to find out more in-depth information about your chosen subject. You will get the chance to meet a lecturer and take part in an interactive subject session. If you have visited campus before and feel like you have fully explored campus, then you can join just for your subject session.
If you can't make the scheduled dates please contact us on recruitmentevents@uea.ac.uk.

Some people are eligible for financial assistance to travel to one of our Open Days, to find out more information please visit our Travel Fund page.

An Applicant Day is specifically for those who have an offer to study here at UEA. This event is to provide a more in-depth insight into your chosen course, with information and taster sessions. We also run a couple of Q&A panels; one with current students, and one specifically for parents, carers and guests. We also have our campus and accommodation tours running, so you can take a look around if this is your first time to campus, or if take another look if you have previously been to an Open Day.
