Choosing a university or choosing which university will be your firm choice? Come along to a tour to help you decide if UEA is right for you.

We know that choosing a university is a daunting experience, especially during such uncertain times, and we know how important it is to visit the place where you may end up studying and living in future. A campus tour will give you the chance to explore campus with a current student so you'll really get that insight into whether you could see yourself as a UEA student.

what will I see on my Tour?

Tours are delivered by our current students. When you arrive, we will check you in and allocate one student to deliver your tour.

Your  student will take you to see our central facilities, the teaching spaces for your subject of interest and, where available, inside our student accommodation. This does depend on the availability of our students that live in the flats. If we are unable to show you inside accommodation for any reason, you will be able to see the outside of the buildings. We also have a range of 360 videos for you to virtually explore inside our accommodation on our Virtual Open Day, which you can access on demand.

how long will my tour last?

Tours last approximately  30 minutes and pre-booking is essential.

Once you've booked a tour, we will send you further information about arriving on campus.

Safety measures

We want to make sure you feel safe and comfortable visiting us. With COVID-19, we are constantly making sure to adhere to any government guidance and our current health and safety measures are :

  • We will be running tours with a max of 10 people plus a UEA student.

  • If any new government guidelines are introduced, we will of course adhere to these and will update this on our webpage

  • Please drive to campus where possible and you will be able to park for free. Full details will be in your registration email.

  • We are staggering arrival times for visitors, every 15 minutes, to minimise waiting times.

  • Hand sanitiser will be available at the registration gazebos and we have various hand sanitising points throughout campus

  • Please bring a facemask with you as face coverings are required inside all University buildings and in crowded areas. If you cannot wear a face covering because of a medical reason, you don't need to wear one.

Please do not travel to campus if:

  • you or anyone you live with starts showing COVID-19 symptoms

  • you or anyone you live with has a positive COVID test or is awaiting a result

We hope that this reassures you about visiting our campus and look forward to welcoming you soon.
