Employing new staff to develop knowledge, skills and behaviours
UEA partners with a range of employers, from large levy-paying organisations to small/medium employers based in their local communities. Levy paying employers can benefit from using the levy to pay for apprenticeship course costs. Smaller employers have funding options including paying a 5% co-contribution, with the remaining 95% funded by the government, or receiving full funding from the government for apprentices aged 16-21 when they start. Employers can also pledge or receive a levy transfer from other levy-paying organisations in order to fund the course costs. Further funding information and details about incentives can be found via the government.
