Now you’ve submitted your application to study at UEA, you’re probably wondering – ‘What’s next?’
Whether you’re applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, your application will need to be reviewed before you hear from us. The length of time this takes, will depend on the time of year, course and whether we require any additional information. Please keep an eye on the email address you used when you submitted your application – we’ll be in touch.
Received an offer to study with us? Congratulations!
If you are successful in receiving an offer to study with us (Congratulations!), there are some key steps you need to take before you join us. Select your study level above to find out more - but most importantly, you will want to think about:
Accommodation - Living on campus?
If you are an offer holder starting the first year of your undergraduate degree and choose UEA as your firm choice, or you are an postgraduate international student, and accept your offer and pay your deposit by 31 July, you are guaranteed a place in UEA accommodation* (*See terms). There are lots of options when it comes to living on campus and you’ll need to indicate your preference when you apply.

If you are able to, visiting campus is the best way to get to know your new home. For undergraduate offer holders, you’ll be invited to attend a subject specific ‘Applicant Day’ which will take place between January and May. Our undergraduate offer holders will also be sent a link to explore their personalised Applicant Hub. All our applicants, undergraduate and postgraduate, are welcome to visit us by booking a ‘Campus Tour’ or ‘visit virtually’ to explore the facilities, student life and more.
