To be found in the beautiful glass fronted West end of the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, the UEA's on-campus art gallery. They boast a premium menu serving high quality drinks, light bites, patisserie and premium quality dining. A children's menu is also available.
A space for postgraduate and mature students to make their own.
Mature and postgraduate students can take advantage of their own dedicated space at Scholar’s Bar. Although the bar is only open Monday to Friday, it’s available as a study space seven days a week. Want to test your grey cells? Join in with the weekly quiz, every Tuesday night in term time.
Get your caffeine hit from the coffee shop by students, for students.
A student-run coffee shop in the university’s Union House. The coffee that’s served even has a UEA connection – student Calum Maciel Brough imports the beans. Unio keeps the roasting local too, using Norwich’s Strangers Coffee for this part of the process. Want a 20p discount on your hot drink? Just remember to bring your own cup!

Need a change of scene while you’re working or just looking for a place to hang out with friends? Grain is a good choice. They’ve got Amico Viva espresso-based coffees, Birchall teas, Hügg hot chocolate, cold drinks and a range of homemade tray bakes. If you want something more substantial, grab a delicious hot wrap!
Work up an appetite in the sports facilities, fuel up in Sportscafé.
Whether you need a snack to get you through your sports session or are starving after your exercise, Sportscafé has got you covered. Hot and cold food is available throughout the day, and most items on the menu are available for takeaway if you’ve got to dash. Choose the traditional Sportspark Breakfast or a breakfast roll to start your day. From lunchtime, burgers, pasta, jacket potatoes, panini, salads and vegan tofu curry are some of your options.

Head to Vista for a business meeting or simply a catch up with colleagues. Alternatively, take a break at Vista for a well-deserved coffee and a chocolate brownie. They also offer salads and a daily vegan soup. Choose from baguettes and paninis on display to enjoy alongside a range of hot and chilled drinks.
Lunch your way with Café 57’s freshly made subs and salads.
There’s a great selection of subs and salads on the menu, including gluten-free subs. But if you don’t see one you fancy, no problem, you can make your own. All the subs and salads are prepared fresh just for you. Wash lunch down with a cup of Roots Blossom coffee or a Hügg hot chocolate.

Come here for food made with as many fresh and locally sourced ingredients as possible. The menu covers a wide range of ethnic tastes and has something for all budgets. Pop by for lunch or an early dinner after you’ve finished in the lecture theatre.

UEA and NHS staff need somewhere to go for lunch too. Tonic offers a range of hot meals, including homemade soup, jacket potatoes and pizza. It also serves a range of salads if you’re after a light bite. And there are delicious cakes if you need an extra boost.
