Bar SU is where things get social. They’ve got a pub-style area (Red Bar), as well as a space for screening sports, holding student events and hosting club nights (Blue Bar). Hang out with your friends after lectures. Make new friends on the dance floor. Play a couple of games of pool. It’s your space to unwind in.

From sandwiches and soups to pasta and panini, Blend has everything you need to stay fuelled throughout the day. Pop in for a quick snack, a cheeky chocolate bar, a steaming filter coffee or soothing tea. Eat in or take away to enjoy it wherever you choose on campus.

Need a pick me up in between classes? Grab a handcrafted coffee and a homemade flapjack if you’re in a rush. Or pop by for lunch and choose from Atrium’s selection of sandwiches and panini, or a savoury pastry for a warming snack. Their blended milkshakes and fruit or vegetable smoothies are the perfect refreshment.

Modern Life (Sainsbury Centre)
The place to go for lunch (or brunch) with a view.
To be found in the beautiful glass fronted West end of the Sainsbury Centre, the UEA's on-campus art gallery. They boast a premium menu serving high quality drinks, light bites, patisserie and premium quality dining. A children's menu is also available.
A space for postgraduate and mature students to make their own.
Mature and postgraduate students can take advantage of their own dedicated space at Scholar’s Bar. Although the bar is only open Monday to Friday, it’s available as a study space seven days a week. Want to test your grey cells? Join in with the weekly quiz, every Tuesday night in term time.

A student-run coffee shop in the university’s Union House. The coffee that’s served even has a UEA connection – student Calum Maciel Brough imports the beans. Unio keeps the roasting local too, using Norwich’s Strangers Coffee for this part of the process. Want a 20p discount on your hot drink? Just remember to bring your own cup!

Need a change of scene while you’re working or just looking for a place to hang out with friends? Grain is a good choice. Whether you need a snack to get you through your sports session or are starving after your exercise, Sportscafé has got you covered. Hot and cold food is available throughout the day, and most items on the menu are available for takeaway if you’ve got to dash. Choose the traditional Sportspark Breakfast or a breakfast roll to start your day. From lunchtime, burgers, pasta, jacket potatoes, panini, salads and vegan tofu curry are some of your options.

At Vista we offer multiple meal deals, which vary according to the time of day. From a traditional cooked breakfast to dinner and everything in between, Vista is the obvious place to eat every day. You can enjoy amazing value food and drink in a relaxed, easy going environment .

Lunch your way with Café 57’s freshly made subs and salads.
There’s a great selection of subs and salads on the menu, including gluten-free subs. But if you don’t see one you fancy, no problem, you can make your own. All the subs and salads are prepared fresh just for you. Wash lunch down with a cup of Roots Blossom coffee or a Hügg hot chocolate.

UEA and NHS staff need somewhere to go for lunch too. Tonic offers a range of hot meals, including homemade soup, jacket potatoes and filled breads. It also serves a range of salads if you’re after a light bite. And there are delicious cakes if you need an extra boost.
