If you are a national of the counties listed here then you need to get a visitor visa before you travel. If your country of nationality is not listed, then you will be able to get a standard visitor visa at the UK port of entry, providing that you have the correct documents with you.

Once you have registered online to attend your graduation ceremony you will receive a confirmation email. You will need to print this and include it with your visa application. The email will confirm that you have registered to attend the ceremony, the date and time of the ceremony, and the number of tickets you have requested for your guests.

You should also include the email you will receive when you have successfully completed your course.

No, you do not need a CAS. You will not be applying for a new Student visa, unless you are starting a new course in the UK.
UK Visa and Immigration want you to have the visa for the purpose you are coming to the UK. Therefore, if you are no longer studying, a Student visa might not be acceptable. It will be the decision of the immigration officer at the border. We advise you to apply for a new visa if appropriate.
