Engineers at UEA work on a wide variety of cutting-edge topics, bringing various disciplines together to tackle important issues across the engineering sciences.

We have particular expertise in low-carbon energy, modelling and materials, working collaboratively with the University's exceptional schools of Computing Sciences, Business and Environmental Sciences and across the Norwich Research Park.

Norwich Research Park is one of Europe's largest single-site concentrations of research in agri-food, health and environmental sciences with a combined research budget of £100M. Other partnerships include the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research (headquartered at UEA) and the Eastern Arc (a partnership with the University of Essex and the University of Kent).

We use our company SYS Consulting Ltd to to help clients ranging from local authorities and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to national and international companies, by applying our research and expertise
