Work up an appetite in the sports facilities, fuel up in Sportscafé
Located inside the Sportspark on University Drive.
Convenient café which complements the incredible facilities the Sportspark has to offer. Sandwiched between the climbing wall and running track, it provides a vibrant atmosphere where you can relax and recharge with their wide range of good-value food and drinks.
Lunch your way with Café 57’s freshly made subs and salads.
Located in the Julian Study Centre on Chancellors Drive.
The subs are fantastic, great price and really tasty. Highly recommend the BBQ breakfast sub – wouldn’t have thought egg mayo would go so well toasted with bacon and cheese, but I was so wrong!
Bike Shop (Dr Bike)
Get cycling with help from the team at Dr Bike.
Located behind Congregation Hall.
They have free-to-use equipment, which includes specialist items that are expensive to buy. The staff are really friendly and diagnose problems for free, as well as fixing anything that you can’t, all for a reasonable price. Great service.
Norwich has many options for travel, most notable of which is the ever-present taxi. From the iconic Black taxis to the minicab.
Drop off points throughout the campus.
Lots of reasonably priced taxi companies. You can also give your name and campus card number if you don’t have cash, so you can get home safely after a night out and the university will charge you back.
Last Pub Standing
A well-stocked bar, great food and one of the city’s best beer gardens.
27-29 King Street, Norwich, NR1 1PD.
This is a gem of a pub. Fantastic food, a good range of beer and stylish décor. Relax outside in the beer garden or socialise inside over a board game. Highly recommend the burgers with their perfectly seasoned chips.
Such a wide range of facilities and classes available.
Located off University Drive on campus.
It’s got great facilities that can be booked between friends like squash courts, astroturf pitches and basketball courts. It’s great for a game with some mates, just for fun.
