Why choose Wageningen?

If you want to be part of a university driving to make real change in the world, then Wageningen might be for you. Originally established as an agricultural college in the 1800s, Wageningen University & Research is now consistently considered a World Top 100 university. As a small university with a specific mission, it is quite different from institutions we typically see in the UK. All 20 degree programmes centre around the field of healthy food and living environment. 7 of these programmes are taught in English, making them the perfect chance to study in a different style and to learn about a different culture.

Wageningen is in the centre of the Netherlands. The city is small and historic, with just under 40,000 inhabitants. Students from the university make up a large proportion of this. The efficient Dutch trains will get you to Amsterdam or Rotterdam in under 90 minutes so there will be plenty of opportunities to explore larger cities in the country.
