Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is among the most prestigious universities in Greece.

The Student Week is a cultural event organised annually inside the university campus. It actually lasts for three or four weeks and is organised by more than 60 student groups.

There is a University Camp in Chalkidiki in a very beautiful place by the sea, full of pine trees. It opens its gates every year during the summer period for the students and staff of the A.U.Th.

The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is the largest university in Greece, its main campus located in the Greek port city of Thessaloniki which is the country's second-largest city and considered to be the cultural capital. Over 80,000 students study at the Aristotle University. The main language of instruction is Greek, although programmes are carried out in English, French, German and Italian for international students.
