Study and Modules
Structure
To begin, you’ll explore the most important theories and practices in international accounting, investments, and corporate finance and governance.
You’ll then add further depth and breadth to your studies by having the flexibility to tailor your studies to your interests by choosing optional modules from a selected list.
You’ll also learn what research is and discover different techniques for uncovering the potential of accounting research. You’ll explore different qualitative and quantitative techniques, as well as different sources and resources. You’ll learn when best to use which techniques and sources, and how to combine them to create rich, multidimensional research. Understanding when to use which techniques will ensure you get the most from the tools at your disposal.
In your final semester, you’ll complete your dissertation under your supervisor’s guidance. This is a fantastic opportunity to conduct your own original piece of research, explore a question you’re passionate about, and contribute to the latest thinking in the field. Your dissertation not only prepares you well for PhD study but also demonstrates your potential to future employers.

Whilst the University will make every effort to offer the modules listed, changes may sometimes be made arising from the annual monitoring, review and update of modules. Where this activity leads to significant (but not minor) changes to programmes and their constituent modules, the University will endeavour to consult with students and others. Teaching and Learning, and Assessment
Over this 12-month intensive course you’ll be constantly challenged to build your knowledge and hone your skills. You’ll develop both theoretical understanding and practical skills.
You’ll learn through a combination of lectures, workshops, seminars, and practical hands-on experience. You’ll learn from distinguished lecturers, guest speakers, and researchers from Norwich Business School and the wider university. You’ll also learn from your fellow students, and by doing your own independent study.
Our research-led teaching combines the latest thinking in accounting and finance with real-world business perspectives. You'll develop advanced analytical and critical thinking skills, preparing you to evaluate new ideas, tackle complex challenges, and adapt to a rapidly evolving global business environment.

Applications from students whose first language is not English are welcome. We require evidence of proficiency in English (including writing, speaking, listening and reading):

Tuition fees for the Academic Year 2027/28 are:
