Whilst the University will make every effort to offer the modules listed, changes may sometimes be made arising from the annual monitoring, review and update of modules. Where this activity leads to significant (but not minor) changes to programmes and their constituent modules, the University will endeavour to consult with students and others. It is also possible that the University may not be able to offer a module for reasons outside of its control, such as the illness of a member of staff. In some cases optional modules can have limited places available and so you may be asked to make additional module choices in the event you do not gain a place on your first choice. Where this is the case, the University will inform students.
Over this 12-month intensive course you’ll be constantly challenged to build your knowledge and hone your skills. You’ll develop both theoretical understanding and practical skills.
You’ll learn through a combination of lectures, workshops, seminars and practical hands-on experience. You’ll learn from distinguished lecturers, guest speakers and researchers from Norwich Business School and the wider university. You’ll also learn from your fellow students, and by doing your own independent study.
All our teaching is informed by the latest research and real-world business experience. This means that you’ll benefit from the most current thinking in the industry. But business is ever-changing, so you won’t just learn to understand, evaluate and utilise the leading theories of today. You’ll also develop the critical skills needed to examine and put to use any new theories and methods that come to the fore during your career.
We’ll use different methods of assessment to test different skills and knowledge. You’ll find that assessment through practical case studies and coursework will help you to improve your analytical and critical thinking as well as your communication, writing and presentation skills.
