Developed to be flexible, fully online, and to suit the needs of national and international health and social care professionals, this programme will equip you with advanced skills in teaching, support, and supervision, enabling you to inspire and develop others in clinical practice or higher education.

The course features a flexible blend of asynchronous eWorkshops and synchronous sessions, allowing you to engage with content at your own pace. Applicants will be asked to provide a reference that evidences their current employer will provide them an opportunity to teach whilst on the course. This is essential for the completion of specific core modules.
Please note: Applicants who have successfully completed a relevant PGCert (60 credits) and are awarded Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) will enter directly into Year 2 (PGDip stage) of the programme. The next available Year 2 entry point is January 2027.

Applications from students whose first language is not English are welcome. We require evidence of proficiency in English (including writing, speaking, listening and reading):
IELTS: 6.5 overall (minimum 6.0 in all components)

Test dates should be within two years of the course start date.

This course accepts students who qualify for a Bursary with NHS England for Trainees and Educators in the East of England. For more details please visit NHS England website.
