Clinical Psychology and Psychological Therapies

Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
Our doctorate programme lasts for three calendar years and leads to the qualification of Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (ClinPsyD). The ClinPsyD at UEA blends academic, research and clinical practice components, and successful completion of the Programme gives eligibility to apply for registration as a Clinical Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and for membership of the British Psychological Society as a Chartered Psychologist.

Accreditation
Our Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course as well as our MBBS with a Gateway Year and MBBS Graduate Entry are all accredited by the General Medical Council.
Students who successfully complete module 1 and 2 of the PGCert, PG Dip or Masters, can apply to be a Fellow of Advance HE. This international qualification gives post nominals FHEA. Students who successfully complete just module 1 can apply to be an Associate Fellow of Advance HE. This international qualification gives the post nominal aFHEA.
Our MClin Ed and the MClin Ed LEAD courses are accredited by Advance HE.
