We offer two types of Master's degree.

The academic and professional programme MSc courses require a background in economics or a closely related subject.

The applied training programme MSc courses are suitable for applicants with a background in any subject, who have an interest in Economics.

Academic and Professional Programmes

These MSc programmes are a good choice for students who'd like to pursue a career as a professional economist in government, financial institutions, business, commerce, industry, international agencies or other similar organisations.

They're also ideal for students who'd like to to pursue a PhD programme followed by a career in academia.

Applied Training Programmes

These MSc programmes are a good choice if you would like to pursue an interest in economics but haven't studied the subject before.

You'll gain new skills in your chosen specialism and in economics generally. The programmes prepare you for careers in a wide range of areas including finance, management, international business, international relations or the creative and cultural industries.
