·        BMREPORTS -   this link gives live information about electricity demand and generation in the UK. On the front page there is information on the electricity demand on a 30 minute basis and as the System Prices.  

One important aspect of this link is that Wind Energy projections are now made 48 hours and 24 hours in advance of real time and a graph shows how well wind energy output is predicted.   Indeed, contrary to many expectations, wind energy is very predictable.   Click on the “General” Tab then Electricity Summary to get to this information.
