Energy Efficiency and Energy
Conservation
- [√] The Carbon Trust. This
organisation works for businesses and has taken over the Efficiency Best
Practice Program. It gives details of latest ideas on energy efficiency
including information on rebate schemes for heavy industry. There are
also pages giving other sources of information including Degree
Day Data from the
- [√] Degree Data In formation This is the link to the VESMA
Website which provides monthly data or the 18 climate zones of the UK.
- [√] SEDBUK Data Base of
efficiencies of every boiler..
- [√] The UK Energy Savings Trust.
This gives information about Energy Saving issues including grants and
rebates for items such as low energy light bulbs and condensing boilers.
However, some grants are Post Code/age dependent

Combined Heat and Power Association - includes statistics on current
installations in UK - and also links to CHP schemes overseas

and the Environment A good basic introduction from the
Electricity Association including tables of potential saving in gaseous

EDF Energy who
