  • Receive your CAS & apply for your visa

International students will need a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) to apply for a student visa.

UEA will start to issue CAS letters once you have accepted your offer and paid your deposit.

At this stage we may also ask you to provide the documentation that you will use in your visa application, provide evidence of cost of living funds, and carry out a pre-CAS interview with you.

Once all checks are satisfactorily completed, we will issue your CAS by email.

The UKVI can take several weeks to process a visa application, so please submit your Student visa as soon as you receive your UEA CAS.
