International Early Payment Awards (September Start)
To recognise and reward the financial commitment of paying early, we have two awards available to international students joining UEA in September 2027.
Early Deposit Award – £500
Students paying the minimum deposit amount outlined in their offer email will receive a £500 tuition fee reduction.
Full Payment Award – £1,000
Students paying tuition fees in full ahead of the payment deadline will receive a £1,000 tuition fee reduction.
The maximum total amount for these two awards is £1,500. Please scroll down for full details.
The deadlines for payment will be announced in early 2027.

Further Criteria
To be eligible for the £500 early deposit award you must be an international student, paying overseas tuition fees, and pay your deposit ahead of the early deposit deadline.
To be eligible for the £1,000 early payment award, you must be an international student, paying overseas tuition fees, and pay your full fees (minus any scholarships awarded) ahead of the early payment deadline.
This award is not available to home fee paying students.
These awards can be awarded individually as either a £500 award or a £1,000 award or stacked for a total award of £1,500.
Example 1 - if you don't pay your deposit before the deposit deadline, but you do pay your full tuition fees ahead of the early payment deadline, you will receive £1,000.
Example 2 - if you pay your deposit before the early deposit deadline, and then go on to pay the remaining fees ahead of the early payment deadline, you will receive £1,500.
Example 3 - if you pay your deposit before the early deposit deadline, but do not pay the remaining fees ahead of the early payment deadline, you will receive £500.
The below courses are excluded from receiving the Early Payment Award:
Any MBBS course
Any Undergraduate Final Year Entry course
Degree Apprenticeships
MSc Global Plant Health
MSc Plant Genetics and Crop Improvement
Restrictions with other Scholarships
This scholarship will not be awarded if you already hold a scholarship covering full tuition fees, whether awarded by UEA or an external organisation. Governmental or educational loans will not affect eligibility.
Related Scholarships
Application Process
If you meet the Eligibility Criteria, you will be awarded the Early Payment Awards automatically. You do not need to make a separate application.
The award shall be made as a tuition fee discount. No payment shall be made direct to the student.
Where a programme is more than one year in length, the scholarship will be offered for the first year only.
