International Early Payment Awards (September Start)

Early Payment Awards

To recognise the financial commitment of paying early we have two awards available to international offer holders.

Early Deposit Award September Semester 2025 – £500

This award is for students who are joining UEA in September 2025 for an eligible full time Undergraduate or Postgraduate taught programme.

Applicants paying the £4,000 deposit in full by 27 June 2025 will receive a £500 tuition fee reduction.

Full Payment Award September Semester 2025 – £1,000

This award is also for students who are joining UEA in September 2025 for an eligible full time Undergraduate or Postgraduate taught programme.

Applicants paying tuition fees in full (minus any other UEA scholarship) by 31 July 2025 will receive a £1,000 tuition fee reduction.

Please note that the maximum total amount for these two awards is £1,000.

For example, an offer holder paying the £4,000 deposit before 27 June 2025 and then paying in full by 31 July 2025 will receive a £1,000 reduction in the tuition fee.

Example:

MSc Business and Management Tuition fee: £24,300

International PG Merit Scholarship: £5,000 (some offer holders may be eligible for £4,000)

Deposit of £4,000 paid before 27 June 2025

Early Deposit Award: £500

Early Full Fee Payment Early Full Fee Payment if full fees received by 31 July 2025: £500 (this is £1,000 if the offer holder has not also received the Early Deposit award)

Amount to pay for Full Payment Award: £24,300 - £5,000 (scholarship) - £1,000 (Full Payment Award) - £4,000 deposit already paid = £14,300 remaining to pay to be eligible for the full payment award.

The below UG courses are excluded from receiving the Early Payment Award*:

• MBBS Medicine

• MBBS Medicine with a Gateway Year

• BSc Physiotherapy 

• BSc Occupational Therapy

• BA Global Communication with Business Management (final year entry)

• BA International Business Management (final year entry)

• BA Marketing and Management (final year entry)

• BSc Accounting and Finance (final year entry)

• BSc Computing Science with Software Development (final year entry)

• BSc International Finance (final year entry)

• MSc Global Plant Health

• MSc Plant Genetics and Crop Improvement

• MA The Arts of Africa, Oceania and the Americas

^ Final Year Entry Undergraduate programmes have a corresponding Early Payment Award. For more information please refer to International Early Payment Awards (Final Year Entry) in the UEA Scholarship Finder.

If you meet the Eligibility Criteria, the fee discount of the International Early Payment Awards will be automatic. You do not need to make a separate application.

The award shall be made as a tuition fee discount. No payment shall be made direct to the student. The amount of the award is specified in your award notification email.

Where a programme is more than one year in length, the scholarship will be offered for the first year only.

If your deposit or full tuition payment is received by 23:59 on the relevant deadline (27 June for deposits or 31 July for full fee payment) then you will automatically receive the award. You do not need to submit an application nor inform us by email or other means.

The best way to make your payment is to use our Flywire payment method. Other methods may mean it is more difficult to track your payment, causing delays.
