International Postgraduate Merit Scholarship
UEA are offering postgraduate students, paying international fees, up to £9,000 towards their tuition fees for all eligible taught courses starting in September 2027 and January 2028.
The total scholarship you receive will be based on the country you are a national of, or domiciled in, and whether you have achieved a 2:2 (or equivalent) in your previous qualifications, or a 2:1 or above.

This scholarship is available for our September 2027 and January 2028 entry.
This scholarship is awarded as a tuition fee discount for international students, paying international fees, joining us on Postgraduate taught programmes at UEA. Where your full time programme of study is two years in length (such as for our placement year options), the scholarship will be offered for the first year only.
The total scholarship you receive will be based on the country you are a national of, or domiciled in, and whether you have achieved a 2:2 (or equivalent) in your previous qualifications, or a 2:1 or above. Please see the table above for full details of the total scholarships available.

The following courses are not eligible for these scholarships:
Any MBBS course
Any Integrated Masters
MSc Occupational Therapy
MSc Physiotherapy
MSc Plant Genetics and Crop Improvement
MSc Global Plant Health
Any PGCert, PGDip, Pre-Masters, Graduate Diploma or integrated Masters programmes
Online or distance learning courses
Restrictions with other Scholarships
This scholarship can only be received alongside the International Early Payment Awards. You are not able to receive any other UEA Scholarships in addition to this. If you are eligible for another UEA Scholarship of higher value, this will automatically replace this Scholarship. Students receiving sponsorship covering full fees by an outside body or government organisation are not eligible for this scholarship. Government or educational loans that require repayment do not affect eligibility.
