Why did you join the UEA MBA programme?
I joined UEA for my MBA degree because it is ranked within Top 20 UK universities which had an AMBA accreditation with reasonable Tuition Fee Structure.
Were there any specific programme attributes or life/career influences?
Being from a Marketing and Brand Management background, the elective stream of Brand Leadership excited me. Then I found the Management Consultancy Project quite interesting, as the business school provided the students with real clients to give hands on experience of professional consultancy work. On top of that UEA MBA degree also offers a joint award with a Level 7 Diploma in Professional Consulting from the CMI (Chartered Management Institute).
How did the MBA change your life personally and professionally?
I truly feel that my working style and approach has changed. My thinking capabilities and analytical skills has broadened business-wise and it can be seen in my professional work as well. Recently, my new employer complimented me on using few business and marketing modules that I learnt at NBS to back my marketing strategies and plans theoretically. It felt quite nice to be appreciated like that.
What advice do you have for those who are joining the programme?
As it is a full-time one-year course, it is going to be very rigorous. The classes run from 9 to 5, 5 days a week for the first few months at least, so, be prepared to be fully invested in this programme.
