About
Young Norfolk Arts provides opportunities for children and young people to create and engage with creativity and culture across Norfolk.
Young Norfolk Arts holds the Young Norfolk Arts Festival (YNAF) – a celebration of creativity and performance by and for young people in Norfolk every year, and the Young Norfolk Visual Arts (YNVA) programme and exhibition. They also run the YNA Collective (YNAC), a volunteer group of 16-25 year olds with an interest in the arts and creative industries either as a hobby or as a career path.
Young Norfolk Arts Collective (YNAC)
Through regular in-person and online meetings, training sessions, creative workshops, the Collective have the opportunity to collaborate and develop the skills and knowledge to enable them to produce and promote creative events, activities and exhibitions, such as our annual Young Norfolk Arts Festival.
Members of the Collective have the opportunity to:
Produce, promote and manage creative events and exhibitions
Learn and develop new creative skills alongside professional artists
Enhance your CV and learn more about creative careers
Record and document projects through film, photography, blog posts, podcasts and radio broadcasts
Become an ambassador of youth arts and cultural development in Norfolk.
Work towards a bronze and silver Arts Award
All YNA Collective activity is a blend of both in-person and online sessions/workshops via zoom to enable us to reach those all over Norfolk and for accessibility purposes.
