One of the UK’s leading performing arts organisations, Norwich Theatre is the largest arts institution in the East of England, welcoming around 500,000 visitors a year to its three venues – Theatre Royal, Playhouse and Stage Two.
Norwich Theatre’s year-round programme spans the full spectrum of the performing arts – drama, dance, musicals, opera, ballet, comedy, music and the spoken word. Working in close partnership with a variety of world-class artists and companies, it hosts a variety of performances that are renowned for their quality, variety and diversity.
PARTNERSHIP
UEA and Norwich Theatre have collaborated over many years and we entered a formal partnership in 2019. This provides opportunities in teaching, research, employability, innovation and civic engagement. The partnership offers professional experiences that set talented students apart in today’s performance industries and seeks to enhance education, arts and culture in the region and beyond.
