A journey through Pharmacology and Drug Discovery – You will have the opportunity to participate in interactive demonstrations based in our state-of-the-art laboratories, where you will explore the fascinating world of pharmacology and drug discovery research happening right here at UEA

Lab Experiment – Apply Digital Technology to the Design of New Molecules and Drugs

How do drugs interact with their target? How do we design new molecules? You will use a combination of Molymods, 3D printed structures, and computational tools to investigate how small changes in the structure of a drug have a big impact on its therapeutic properties. This activity will introduce you to some principles of Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology, and demonstrate how advances in technology underlie medical advances.
