11am–12pm | Introduction to the School Hear about what it's like to study in the School of Global Development, including information on course content, Study Abroad and work placements options and graduate employment prospects. Studying Development: The Student Perspective Quiz a panel of current students on their experiences of studying in the School of Global Development. Ask them about anything from assessments to placement opportunities, module choices to course community (and anything else in between). 12.20–1pm | Mini Taster Lecture Engage in a taster lecture as one of our academic colleagues share their expertise on a pressing Global Development challenge. You might hear about how we can address the environmental degradation caused by mining, tackle growing economic inequality, or resist the rise of xenophobic nationalism around the world.
