Legend has it Norwich has a pub for each day of the year
Last Pub Standing
A well-stocked bar, great food and one of the city’s best beer gardens.
Now the only pub on King Street, Last Pub Standing goes all out to welcome its customers. There are offers on food and drink most nights of the week. The Sunday roast is excellent. You’ll find a tiki-style hut in the beer garden and there is often live music both in and outdoors. Come with friends and make new ones.
St. Andrews Brewhouse
A microbrewery, bar and restaurant, all in one.
Enjoy one of the pub’s own beers. Book a brewery tour if you want to learn more. Stay for lunch or dinner at the restaurant serving dishes made with local ingredients. The menu is seasonal, with lots of vegetarian and vegan food. Upstairs, you’ll find board games to play with friends. It’s also a great place for watching live sport.
A Victorian pub with an incredible selection of wine.
Step into this Victorian local and you’ll find a selection of ales, lagers and more than 50 different wines behind the bar. The food menu changes monthly and there are always daily specials, as well as a few classics at very reasonable prices. Upstairs is a restaurant and the pub has a lovely beer garden for sunny days.
The Lamb Inn
Pay a visit to Norwich’s second-oldest pub (complete with three ghosts)
A family-friendly spot with a classic pub menu, as well as a good selection of gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian dishes. There’s a burger night, a grill night and, of course, Sunday roasts. Enjoy its heated outdoor terrace all year round, whether you’re eating or just enjoying a couple of drinks with friends.
The Sir Garnet
Try the local ales and soak up the atmosphere in the city centre.
Come for a pint of one of its three regional ales. They change regularly so there’s always something new behind the bar in this charming pub in the heart of Norwich. The food on offer is equally local, with as much as possible sourced from the neighbouring market.
