As an undergraduate Medical (MED) or Health Sciences (HSC) student your course is longer than the standard UEA undergraduate course - so you will need to stay in UEA accommodation for longer than the standard 38 week period. Because of this we do have to limit the buildings that we offer you, however, you still have the full range of room type options available to you. Each flat in a designated MED and HSC area will normally have up to half its residents from these courses. That way you will be able to easily meet students from all over the University.
- MED Foundation Year - 40 weeks
- All other MED courses - 40 weeks
- HSC courses - 42-48 weeks (depending on individual course)
Prospective students are politely advised that they will be committing to the full licence period and that they will not be released from the licence to attend work placements (or equivalent).
