Your University Questions, Answered.

Is there somewhere I can buy food on campus? Dom, Kent

Our Answer:

Yes is the answer to this very important question!

Whether you need a quick bite to eat or drink between lectures, or need to buy supplies for the week, we have facilities on campus to help you do this easily.

Our food outlets across the campus provide fresh food from local sustainable, quality ingredients. From barista coffee, fresh patisserie and international cuisine, all tastes and dietary requirements are catered for at reasonable prices. We also have a 'Grab and Go' outlet if you are really in a hurry!

Our student run shop is located at the heart of campus and houses a bakery, the Post Office and all kinds of foods from across the globe, from the bare essentials to luxuries! If you're looking for an affordable lunch or just a bite to eat, you'll be pleased to hear both hot and cold food is available as well as lunchtime meal deals. You can also find stationary, cards, newspapers and magazines, clothes... the list goes on!

You can stock up your cupboards at one of the local supermarkets. Tesco Express and Co-op supermarkets are a short walk from campus (5-10 minutes) or you can catch a bus or walk an extra mile for larger Waitrose and Morrison stores. The big supermarkets also deliver to campus.

Don't miss our city centre open air market which has over 200 stalls offering fresh local produce. It sells pretty much everything you could possibly need.
