The UEA Booker Prize Foundation Scholarship is awarded to a Postgraduate student within the School of Literature, Drama and Creative Writing to enable them to study on the MA Creative Writing (Prose Fiction) course.

Eligibility

  • Level: Postgraduate
  • School: Literature, Drama and Creative Writing
  • Residency: A commonwealth country (including the UK, Republic of Ireland and Zimbabwe).

What does it cover?

  • Value: Up to £25,000 to include a stipend and one economy return flight fare if the recipient is traveling from overseas
  • Duration of award: One year
  • Tuition fees or maintenance: Both
  • Number available: 1

How do I apply?

This, and all other creative writing (prose) scholarships, will be available for application from February 1 2017.

Application form

  • You must have applied to the course by Monday 1 May 2017.
  • Scholarship application deadline: The deadline for applications is 5pm on Monday 15 May 2017.
