You are expected to:

  • Report and request any absences via e:Vision

  • Present your visa (or share code) and passport documents at your Right to Study check as part of registration in good time.

  • Attend all visa checking appointments that you are invited to. These are mandatory checks of your documentation and form part of your engagement with the University

  • Comply with the working hours condition of your immigration permission

  • Not engage in any business activities or self-employment

  • Not attempt to apply for ‘public funds’, including welfare and local authority housing benefits

  • Keep your personal details up to date with UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI)

  • Leave the UK or apply to extend/switch your immigration permission before your current visa expires.

  • Comply with the General Regulations for Students (see link below), including rules and regulations covering:

If you don’t meet the requirements of your visa you may have to interrupt your studies or withdraw from your course. If this happens your visa will be curtailed (cancelled) and you will have to return home.

If you are having difficulties meeting any of these requirements, please contact Student Life International urgently.
