Huge congratulations on your offer to study at UEA!

Now you have been offered a place to study with us, it’s time to get excited about your new adventure.

Choosing your firm (first) and insurance (second) universities?

So, you’ve narrowed down your choices, submitted the all-important personal statement and officially applied to university! Then before you know it, you have to shortlist again. Only this time, you can only choose two – your firm and insurance choice. Are you wondering where to begin?

Here are some of the things we recommend exploring to help you make your decision. We hope by completing these things, you’ll find it easier choosing your firm and insurance choices via UCAS. Once you’ve made your decision, it’s time to accept your place!

Whether you have already visited UEA before or it’s your first time, we highly recommend attending your subject specific Applicant Day.

Unlike our large scale open days or campus tours, this invite-only event provides you with an opportunity to immerse yourself in what real life would be like as a UEA student. You will spend time in your school of study and experience your course with a taster activity, you can, ask any questions you have and also meet other applicants! You’ll be able to take tours of the facilities, accommodation and more.

To book your applicant day, check your emails for your subject specific invite or email admissions@uea.ac.uk.

Find out more about our Applicant Days

We are currently in the process of updating your personalised Applicant Hub experience, and can’t wait to share this with you. We are looking to send all our offer holders their individual link to their very own microsite via email in January 2023, so look out for it – it will be worth the wait!

Our refreshed and exclusive  Applicant Hub acts as a portal containing everything you need to know and next steps to take. Whilst this digital experience doesn’t replace or replicate your Applicant Day, it really complements it and is ideal for those who physically cannot visit us.

You’ll find lots of exclusive subject information, virtual tours, videos and more - so you can still experience life here from the comfort of your own home.

How do I visit the hub / find my personalised link?

Due to the nature of your hub being personalised, the link you use to access it will be unique to you. We regularly email you with your link, so please check your emails for mentions of your ‘Applicant Hub’. If you’re struggling to find it, just pop us an email at admissions@uea.ac.uk
