Why did you join the UEA MBA programme?
The UEA MBA programme was the only programme that started in January and provided the optional module of “Stream in Brand Leadership”. In addition to all of that, the UEA MBA programme offers CMI Level 7 Diploma in Professional Consulting from the “Charter Management Institute – CMI” in London which intrigued my interest in the programme even more.
How did the MBA change your life personally and professionally?
The MBA programme changed my life in many ways.
- On a personal level, I became more confident because of the knowledge acquired and the team building activities; learned how to work and communicate with students from different nationalities and backgrounds which improved my communication skills; my English improved drastically; and I became a more responsible person.
- Professionally, I gained new business skills; enhanced my knowledge in finance, marketing, branding, and IT; learned how to start up or develop new or existing business and how to take decisions by looking from different angles and analysing; and I understood the importance of change management and how to adapt.
What advice do you have for those who are joining the programme?
“Time runs very fast” was the first advice I received from someone at the university but never took into consideration. So, my first advice would be the same to anyone considering joining the programme. Do not think that you have time and do not procrastinate. Take advantage of every single information you get, visit you make, and people you meet. The programme is very rich and the team is very qualified, this is rare to find!
