When you pass your degree and have your placements signed off we automatically offer UEA 3rd Year mental health nurse students a job within our Trust.

We offer a nursing academy that offers peer group classes for completion of all statutory and mandatory training, networking opportunities, e-learning and leadership masterclasses.

"As newly-qualified nursing staff, you are crucial to the future of the health service and as this nursing academy is one of the first of its kind, you are also pioneers...."

"We hope the academy will not only help you to make a smooth transition from student to staff but also offer a real sense of belonging and identity. The academy is also designed as a platform for you to tell us what you think, and as newly-qualified nurses, what you need".      Deputy Director of Nursing, Michele Allott
