Introduction and opportunities Introduction and opportunities

Hertfordshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust provides services for people with Mental Health problems and/or Learning Difficulties in Hertfordshire, Essex and Norfolk.

The Trust has a set of five key values which are positive, respectful, kind, welcoming and professional. These values guide how we treat our patients and each other.

For UEA students the opportunities for employment in Norfolk are at either Astley Court or the Broadland Clinic. Both services are located at Little Plumstead Hospital

Astley Court is an Assessment and Treatment service led by the principles of Transforming Care with both an inpatient service and an Enhanced Assessment and Treatment Community Team.

The Broadland Clinic is a Medium Secure Unit which has a fantastic Multi-Disciplinary Team made up of Nurses from Learning Disabilities, Mental Health and Adult branches of training, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologists, speciality Doctors and Consultant Psychiatrists.

Both Areas offer excellent Learning and working experiences including fantastic supervision and preceptorship programmes. Both provide ample parking for staff.
