Summary

The colour & Imaging Lab is well known for its work on 'seeing': the design and implementation of image processing systems (the kind found on your smart phones) that take the image recorded on a sensor and returns a pleasing photo and video. We have developed leading algorithms for processing images captured under low light conditions [1], tone mapping [2] and colour constancy [3].
