- Our academics are internationally-recognised researchers, representing a wide cross-section of expertise across a diverse variety of specialisms. They lead international research in volcanology, seismology, ecology, conservation, oceanography, environmental economics and geochemistry.
- You will graduate with skills in environmental sciences that can be applied to a variety of international industries, including meteorology, environmental politics, soil science, and energy resources, to name a few. As a School, 88.4% of our undergraduates, who were available for work, found work or study within six months of leaving.
- The School of Environmental Sciences gained a 96% satisfaction rate in the 2013 National Student Survey, putting the department at joint fifth out of all English mainstream universities. In the same survey, the School ranked joint third for teaching, with a 97% satisfaction rate.
