We are thrilled to have you join us and have put together a series of activities to help you immerse yourself into life at UEA. 

The Student Information Zone is open 09.00 - 17.00 to provide information and guidance throughout your arrival period and onwards. Drop by with any questions - no need to make an appointment.

We are dedicated to making our campus accessible to everyone and and strive to enhance our visitor experience. Please view our accessibility guidance for further information.

  • Daily Campus Tours

    Thursday 22 and Friday 23, and through Monday 26 - Friday 30

    Not sure where your lectures will be? Want to get to grips with campus? Come along on a campus tour!

    Campus Tours will take place 4 times a day, each lasting up to 45 minutes. The daily slots are:

    11am
    12pm
    1pm
    2pm

    Arrive at the campus tours gazebo in The Square five minutes before you preferred slot to join the queue.

    You’ve heard of speed dating and maybe even speed friending – but this takes it to a whole new level. Meet other new starters and get a bit crafty in this drop-in session. Paint a portrait, get to know someone new and beat the clock!

  • Visa session

    This session will provide key information about your Student visa, including: a summary of your immigration conditions, information about working on a Student visa, how to maintain good academic engagement, and meeting eligibility for the Graduate visa.

    Topics such as how to get support, visas, access to healthcare, making the most of campus and Norwich will be covered in this session, including a student panel to answer any questions about student life.

    Come along to our Welcome Back networking brunch designed specifically for Mature and Commuter students!

    Whether you're balancing academics with work, family, or a daily commute, this is your chance to connect with peers who understand your unique experience.

    Enjoy complimentary brunch, meet fellow students navigating similar paths, and network. Come for the food, stay for the connections! Whether you are new to the University in January, or an existing student, this brunch is open to all mature and commuter students.

  • Bullet Journalling Workshop

    Want to learn how to be organised during your time at UEA? Join this session from the Learning Enhancement Team to learn how.

    You'll be provided with your very own journal and taught how to use it in a way that works for you, whether that be for university, work or general life admin.

  • Make Your Halls Your Home

    Get creative with this evening of drop-in crafting activities. Try your hand at lino printing with a local artist, or just settle down with some paints and get creative!
