"It is always difficult to predict how a conference is going to be received. However, after much preparation, the day went well, and over 110+ delegates (from Italy to Essex!) shared a brilliant day together.  Speakers were described on twitter/X as’ vibrant and engaging’. All of the concurrent sessions were well attended and questions raised from fascinated participants who were keen to know more about the contents, topics and talent being shared throughout the day. We ended with a panel discussion capturing core learnings and exploring future project work, too early to report on this year, but with the firm intention of another conference to come, to continue our Anchor Institute programmes of work across the East of England." - Prof Sally Hardy.

Conference Highlights

Opening address from Prof Sally Hardy and Prof Jonanathan Webster.

Our first key note was from Phil Carver, NHS England, who provided the political landscape.

Our second key note, Dr Pinar Guven-Uslu, explained how workforce are of high societal value.

Piers the Poet opened and closed the conference with an emotive piece appreciating all our colleagues and a poem of thanks.

Over 40 posters for exciting projects and initiatives were displayed.
