PhD and research degrees in Biological Sciences

Norwich Research Park is an exciting place to do biological research, with over 300 life science research postgraduates at UEA, the John Innes Centre, The Sainsbury Laboratory, the Earlham and Quadram Institutes and  the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital

Each year, the School of Biological Sciences has a number of fully funded PhD studentships in ecology, evolution, cell and tissue biology, molecular microbiology and plant science. For more infomation, see the links on this page.

Other students are funded by their employers, home governments and agencies such as the China Scholarship Council and the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission. Please look at our Research pages and contact staff working in your field of interest to discuss potential research projects in more detail.
