The department of Art History and World Art Studies at UEA is the only art history department in the UK to be housed within a major museum: Norman Foster's world-famous Sainsbury Centre.
The Centre offers an exceptional working environment for undergraduate and postgraduate study. We are particularly noted for our dynamic, interdisciplinary approach to art across cultures, and our courses enable students to explore art’s rich relationships with archaeology, anthropology, history, heritage, and museum studies.
