The Interdisciplinary Institute for the Humanities is home to a variety of interdisciplinary teaching programmes. However, we are much more than that.

We host a number of other activities which cross disciplines and boundaries in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, bringing concepts to fruition. For instance, BLOC Media, East Anglian Film Archive, Publishing Project, Japanese Studies and the Digital Humanities Incubator

By housing these diverse activities and facilities we foster conversations along interdisciplinary lines. Together our community explores the Arts and Humanities in the digital age, allowing us to consider wider, cross discipline perspectives, to gain a greater understanding of 21st century society.

This environment ensures we promote and achieve teaching excellence across all our programmes. We are passionate about helping every student succeed and fulfil their potential.
