UEA Community Choir is for the whole of the university and our wider community. Welcoming, friendly and informal, it is conducted by Director of Music, Stuart Dunlop. There is no audition.
Rehearsals and performances
UEA Community Choir enjoys membership from students, staff, and members of the local community. The choir rehearse on campus from 13:10 - 13:55, every Wednesday lunchtime (except the second Wednesday of the month), during semester time, and perform either on campus or in the surrounding region, at least once a year. UEA Community Choir have one performance planned for the 2024-25 concert season. On Wednesday 11 December 2024, they will join UEA Choir and members of Chamber Choir for the 'UEA Choirs Christmas Carol concert' at The Cathedral of St John the Baptist (Unthank Road, Norwich, NR2 2PA). Tickets for the 'UEA Choirs Christmas Carol concert' have now sold out. Please email musicevents@uea.ac.uk if you would like to be added to the waiting list.

How to join
UEA Community Choir welcomes singers of all abilities and levels of experience, and is audition-free. It is intended for those who: want to start singing in a choir (even if they have never done so before); want to sing in a more informal way, sometimes with more contemporary music; or want to sing for fun and explore their voice.

Subscriptions
The subscription fee is £12 for the year. This fee covers the cost of your music for the year.
