Your University Questions, Answered.

Do you accept mature students? Nancy, London

Our Answer:

At UEA, we firmly believe it’s never too late to study and we welcome mature students to return to learn, whatever the reason.

We have students from all different backgrounds and ages, so no matter what you would like to study, develop in or get experience out of, UEA is a great place to achieve new goals.

With lots of different courses at UEA, we aim to suit a broad range of interests. You can use our course finder to see what course you’d like to do, whether that’s an undergraduate or postgraduate degree.

Our open days are another great way to find out more about studying at UEA as you will get a feel for the campus and the kinds of places you will be studying in, as well as being able to meet potential lecturers and hear from current students. We also offer comprehensive support to colleges for students studying on Access to HE courses and BTEC’s.

During our open days we also provide an information stand for those looking to become a mature student, where you will be able to ask any questions you may have about mature student life here at UEA.

We hope these options will help you in making your decision, but if you have any other queries regarding being a mature student, whether that’s about the mature student support at our open days, our webinar series, a specific course or mature student life, please contact our Widening Participation Officer for Mature students at maturestudents@uea.ac.uk.
