Gain experience with a placement
You’ll have the opportunity to apply what you learn in real-world settings. Our placements help you develop professional skills, build connections and gain experience tackling global challenges. You can choose between:
An 8-12 week placement
A full-year placement
Our students have previously completed placements with leading organisations like WaterAid, Anti-Slavery International, Reach a Hand Uganda, Otra Cosa Peru and the British Red Cross.
You’ll be able to do a placement in the UK or overseas, in places as diverse as Peru, Ghana and Malaysia. And you’ll be supported by a dedicated team in DEV as well as UEA’s career service, to help you find a placement that’s right for you.
