We have a closed Facebook group for Incoming Study Abroad Students, which we'll invite you to once we've made you an offer to study with us. This will be an opportunity to meet your fellow students before you arrive, as well as a place where we can post interesting opportunities in the UK as they arise.
We're also contactable on Whatsapp and Line to answer any questions you might have, and you can get in touch on +44 (0) 7789 875146.
If you have any difficulties at immigration upon arrival at in the UK, please call our UKVI Team directly on +44 (0)1603 591701 (during regular office hours, otherwise please contact the campus Security Lodge on +44 (0)1603 592352).
For general queries upon arrival on campus, please call the Study Abroad Office on +44 (0)1603 591871 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you will be arriving after working hours or you will be arriving after our Arrivals Days please let us know. We will then be able to give you further instructions on how to complete your registration.
Please remember to complete your online preregistration before you arrive. The link to do this is emailed to you approximately 30 days before the classes begin.
Please also remember that it is important to bring with you to registration on arrival:
original transcripts of qualifications
English language proof (if required)
Any documents you used to apply for a visa
a print out of the campus map to help you to find us
There will be a number of informative, academic, and social events taking place during the first few weeks after your arrival. These will be run by the Study Abroad Office, the Student Support Service, the Student Union, and the individual subject schools.
Our Orientation programme for 2018/9 will be released during the summer, so please check back!
Use our Campus Map to help you find your way around the campus.
The Student Support Service has made an International Pre-Departure Guide with useful information about preparing to travel and arriving at UEA.
Also take a look at our latest Incoming Students’ Guide which has been written by a former International student. It will assist you in preparing to arrive and help you settle in.
