Why choose UDLAP

Situated in the small city of San Andres Cholula,  just outside the city of Puebla, the Universidad de las Américas Puebla (UDLAP) is one of Mexico's most prestigious private universities. The university teaches a comprehensive range of subjects in both English and Spanish and there's an emphasis on participation in class. UDLAP receives many international students each year and is set up to welcome them. Sports are also a big part of university life and their collegiate teams (the Aztecs) are very competitive.

The surrounding area of San Andrés is known for being historically indigenous and still contains a larger indigenous population. It is also home to a great number of colonial era churches and traditional Mexican markets. Cholula and Puebla are perfect cities to immerse yourself in Mexican culture and indulge  in the local cuisine.

The university is only 8km west of Pueblo city and 122km from Mexico city, both of which are easily in reach by bus or taxi.
