WHY CHOOSE MASARYK?
Masaryk is the second largest university in Czechia with about 30,000 students. The university is located in the city of Brno and prides itself on it's interdisciplinary approach to solving global problems. University facilities include several new libraries, a wide range of sports facilities (gyms, sports fields, rowing center, indoor and outdoor tennis courts), a botanical garden, university cinema and several student clubs at individual faculties.
In 2019, Brno was voted 6th most popular student city in the world by students in QS ranking. The second largest city in the Czechia, situated in the centre of Europe, has a lot to offer. Not only “unexpected cuisine and nightlife”, as the NYT writes – you can find UNESCO architectural wonders, world-quality coffee scene, ever-living streets, numerous galleries, theatres and much more. Moreover, Brno offers a high quality of life for a great price. The cost of living in Brno is very low in comparison to other EU cities, which allows students to live comfortably on very reasonable budgets.
