Those who complete An Introduction to Screenwriting will have the tools they need to write an effective screenplay and will be confident in using the language and familiar with the vocabulary associated with this form of creative writing. They can also purchase a certificate from FutureLearn to add to their portfolio or CV.
How will I learn?
The course is run on the FutureLearn website platform, where you are led through each week of study by an educator who specialises in screenwriting.
You’ll learn from a mixture of basic theory, script analysis and practical exercises. The course explores key principles as they’re expressed in great films, which are then applied to concepts. Through videos, articles and discussion steps you’ll have the opportunity to learn and engage with thousands of fellow learners across the globe.
