South Asia Student Ambassador
Hello! My name is Shahreen. I'm a postgraduate student studying International Relations at the University of East Anglia which has truly international vibes with its multicultural environment. I chose UEA because it is one of the fifteen best universities in the UK and it has got ninety percent overall student satisfaction rate. UEA has also been awarded Gold ranking in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).
In addition, the UEA campus is amazing where one can get everything from on campus accommodation to the facility of a library which is open 24/7 all year. There is a bank for new students to open their bank accounts and a post room for the parcels. Moreover, halal food is easily available in the campus kitchen and in many other places. There is an Olympic size swimming pool in the Sports Park and a gym with all the facilities. For art lovers, Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts is a heaven having an art gallery and a museum all located inside the campus.
As an international student, support of every kind is readily available at International Student Advice Team (ISAT), Student Support Services and Hubs. Moreover, a personal advisor for each student is also there to help on well being and studies. So no worries guys because you are going to have help at every step. Also, there are more than 200 societies and clubs where you can go to learn the new skills and to polish the existing ones.
